Katherine is an art ‘outsider’ with no formal training but a love and appreciation of how art can be used to engage, explore and inspire. Katherine likes to construct pieces that interpret an idea or concept; and in this series of collages she reflects on the meaning and manifestation of ‘excess’ in our society. Her work can alternatively be structured or free-flowing, and contains some references to urban art and graffiti.
